Paris Je T'aime

As I've been editing my application for BU's Spring Paris Internship Program, I've been fantasizing about what it could be like to spend 5 months in that splendid city. A single gal exploring the wonders of the City of Lights. What could be more fabulous than that? And to blog from Paris?! The shopping! The food! The sights! The music! I can't imagine anything more wonderful.

I found a list of all of the food markets in Paris on Chocolate & Zucchini. I can't wait to check them out! I will definitely be frequenting this French food blog for hints and tips on eating my way through Paris. I can smell the quiche and French Onion Soup Gratinee now!

I'll probably be posting some Paris to-do lists on the Neon Tea Party between now and January just to keep myself organized and satisfy my excitement, so keep an eye out for them!

If anyone has spent significant time in Paris and can offer me any advice of what to do, where to shop and what to eat, I would greatly appreciate it! I'm sure I'll make plenty of amazing discoveries, but pre-trip suggestions never hurt!

Peace, Love and Neon,
Marisa

P.S. I am currently listening to French Café Radio on Pandora and drinking a glass of vin rouge. Gotta prep for the good life!

  2. Monoprix will become your go-to supermarket for the big things, though their deli items rock as well. (www.monoprix.fr)
And you'd love spending time shopping/haggling in the area of Sacre-Coeur for fabric and beads.

  3. I love your blog! Found it when I was looking up info about Rag & Bone's internship, I was supposed to start in August but because I'm in Italy at the moment - couldn't get the J1 visa sorted in time :(

Never been to Paris, but if you're anywhere in France I'd definitely recommend making a trip down to Nice and Cannes in the French Riviera, Nice is the most beautiful place I have ever visited.
