model love: the gap

First of all, I have recently fallen for Georgia Jagger. The pout, the bedroom eyes, the flowing blonde locks, the GAP-TEETH!!

That being said, as I hunted down photos of her on Google, I stumbled upon this slideshow of some famous gap-tooth babes!! Truly a pleasant surprise because it is so spot-on and hysterical. Be sure to read the comment under each photo.

Gap-teeth really are charming, aren't they? Maybe GJ's impending career boom will inspire some gap-tooth chickies out there to spare the braces. Yes please!

time out: to cut, or not to cut

That is the question! There's a great debate going on in my head. Do I leave my locks super long and maintain my sense of self? or chop them for charity and risk facing an identity crisis?

time out: tatz

I have a love-hate opinion on tattoos.

First of all, I would NEVER get one myself. I am Jewish and this is against my religion, but also, I would never want to make that commitment and know that anything I got now would look ridiculous in 20+ years.

That being said, I can't help but draw tattoos on myself every day. In summer, while wearing sandals and flats, I will always draw three stars on my foot. This was an obsession that began in middle school when I saw a prom editorial in Seventeen magazine where the model had three perfect stars--one blue, one pink, one yellow--on her foot. Seven years later I am still drawing the same "tattoo."

Recently, however, I have began writing script phrases on my left arm and wrist. You can often find the words "Je T'aime" and "L'amour" scribbled on the crook of my elbow or hidden under my stack of bracelets. The following pictures were inspiration for this terrible habit of writing on myself in pen ink:

Pen ink will just have to do until I decide that tattoos really aren't for me!

styling tip: more parisian style inspiration, courtesy of altamira

To help me fall asleep at night, as my ever extending to-do list swirls around my head, I take Alex's advice and plan outfits that I can wear in Paris. I often think back to the beautiful ensembles I see young fashionistas wearing in photos posted on my favorite blogs, one of them being model-off-duty photo blog, Altamira. Here, for your viewing pleasure, is part deux of my Parisian style inspiration--photos courtesy of Altamira.
