Bon soir tout le monde!
I was just Skyping with my lovely mother who told me what a hit my blog has been with my family and all of her friends! I didn't even realize who has been following me on my Parisian adventure- second cousins, my mom's customers across the country, certainly more than just my close group of friends! So to everyone that has been reading The Neon Tea Party à Paris: thanks for tuning in and I hope you're enjoying reading what I've been up to!
It's strange because this blog isn't usually a journal so much as a place for me to post images of inspiration (styling and otherwise) and my own professional accomplishments. It's nice to have a reason to practice journaling and I certainly feel that I have become a better writer (and hopefully journalist!) because of it.
So keep tuning in! LOTS more to come! I hear everyone likes the way I describe all of the food that I eat (like this stinky, creamy camembert and leftover baguette that I'm snacking on--don't know why I am because I'm not even hungry! Ha!), so I'll be sure to continue doing that, although it comes all too naturally.
I'd also like to say R.I.P. for Alexander McQueen, who prematurely ended his own life yesterday. The world will miss this unique and extraordinary talent.
On a lighter note: Brussels tomorrow. Chocolate Museum, waffles and Frida Kahlo exhibit, here I come!!
