la vie à paris: c'est fini

Okay quick post for you all. I feel it very necessary to blog before leaving for Italy in the morning, as if each entry is a true chapter in the book of my European experience.

This might end up sounding all funny because I am overtired from studying for finals, plus I just got home from being out with my friends. We'll see how this goes...

So this week was our LAST WEEK of classes for the semester, ending with our three finals today. Damnnnn that went fast! Didn't I just blog last week about starting classes in Paris?! Exams were fine. Vacation time now. Internship (WWD!!!) upon return. Sounds good to me! Too bad that this vacation is gunna be jam-packed with activity, not an actually relaxing getaway. Hoping not to crash in my plate of gnocchi or risotto. Mmmmmmmmm :)

Today after finals I went to the Christian Dior, Vivienne Westwood and Lanvin shows to stand outside and watch the fashion people go by, as I did for Valentine Couture. However, being in broad daylight and being at the prêt-à-porter shows (where there are a higher number of total invites in Paris), I had much better luck with spottings. Basically, I saw every important editor from what seened like every country's Vogue, as well as models (Freja!), stylists and journalists--everyone who is someone in fashion. The most exciting spottings must have been Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist and his girlfriend/fellow photographer Garance Doré. In action! Gaba tapped Scott on the shoulder and we told him that we love his work! Weeeee!
